This book is short and works well for young children. It shows what pirate life was like, but since it meant for kids, it avoids anything inappropriate. While it does mention pirates stealing, this is shown as just part of their lives and is handled carefully. The vocabulary is suitable and helps with language development. I read this book to get ideas for an assignment.
